Adapter drawing doesn't match the trial photos

Our FR10 tooling arrived with a different adapter from the one shown sorting our sample housings. Seller says equivalent. It hasn't been fitted. The delivered drawing puts the tool farther from the flange. What evidence should I request before accepting that change?

Ask them to identify the changed dimensions and reassess the complete tool arrangement; 'equivalent' doesn't explain what happened to your demonstrated setup.

Their reply only compares the bolt pattern. I've sent back the offset dimension with both drawings. And asked who approved the substitution.

Matching bolts settles attachment geometry only partly, and says nothing about the revised working envelope or handling your samples. Did they offer a trial with the supplied adapter?

No. Same old video again, with the original adapter visible. I've asked for a demonstration of the supplied combination and a reviewed drawing.

Then you still lack evidence for the change. Include that offset in your integrator's review too, since the accepted path may depend on the original tool geometry.
