Our FR10 arm crate is in the lab. The mounting-kit crate isn't. I've just been sent the delivery photograph after weeks of asking about the missing package, and it shows one pallet wrapped so you can't count what's on it.
The receipt says two packages. Our unloading note says one pallet. Neither tells me whether the mounting-kit crate reached our door. Anyone untangled this without going round the same delivered message again?
Can the freight handler show what went onto that pallet before wrapping? Your one-pallet note and their two-package receipt could both be accurate, but they haven't shown you the two packages yet.
Our stores once counted a pallet as a package and the carrier counted its boxes. Nobody was lying, still took ages. Give them the missing crate identifier every time, not just the total.
The handler found a loading photo. Two crates, both identifiers readable, under the same wrap. So now I'm chasing what happened after unloading here. Bit embarrassing but the kit still isn't in our lab.
Has anyone checked the goods held for inspection? Our small crate spent a week there because nobody recognised the contents description. Not saying yours did, but reception may have a second list.
Found it in our incoming inspection cage. The small crate had been separated for a damaged outer corner and logged under the freight reference, not our order. Nobody linked the hold notice to me.
Mounting-kit identifier matches, installer checked the contents and the corner damage was confined to the packing. Carrier's count was right. Our internal handoff wasn't. Thanks, Jack, that second-list suggestion was the useful one.
