An item can fail and then have a reviewed retry. I need unique accepted items counted while keeping the failed-check history

Can you follow one labelled item through its attempts? Compare successful-attempt count with its actual accepted disposition.
13分I've traced one item in our saved history and found several successful attempts with the same identity. Our counter adds each success, inflating the apparent batch progress
7分Rebuild an offline total from item dispositions, keeping attempts underneath. Counting each accepted identity once should give you the right batch total.
21分@GraceBennett0755 Only if accepted means the current disposition. An item that passed and was later rejected can't stay counted just because it passed once.
4分Right. I should've said current authorized disposition. Keep the full history, but count an item only if its current disposition makes it accepted for this batch.

11分@GraceBennett0755 On my report, we put attempts and accepted items beside each other. People stopped expecting the numbers to match once the repeated inspections were visible.
