Cannot hand over another UR5e puck offset without a maintenance owner

On a different tray job from the spacer problem, our UR5e now lifts aluminum pucks at an angle. I have retained the filmed pucks and saved the pickup versions; the shift is asking who will check the tooling before another correction becomes normal.

Our shift once had three people nudging the same pickup and nobody booked the tooling check. I'd ask the maintenance lead for a named person and a slot, not another group email.

Maintenance has a slot. The question is whether tooling or controls leads it; each thinks the other changed something first.

Have them attend together for the first comparison. The order of changes may matter, but settling whose fault it is before looking will use the whole slot.

Who can authorise keeping the job stopped if the comparison is inconclusive?

Production lead can hold the job. Tooling will lead the isolated physical check with controls there for the version history. I have asked for both findings, even if neither explains everything.

Do the retained pucks sit squarely in the empty tray when checked without the gripper? That seems a useful comparison before people argue over robot coordinates.

Sam, yes, and Jane has already kept the troublesome pieces. Our mistake was fetching a fresh box for the check because the original batch had gone.

Jane, did the booked check happen?

Yes. Sam, the pucks sit squarely. Tooling found uneven contact on one finger face; its history is unclear. The job remains held while they specify the replacement and review the offsets.

Thanks, Jane. Was that contact visible on the same pucks that tilted, or on a separate bench sample?

And who is following the replacement request now? The original owner question should not return disguised as a parts order.

Sam, the retained tilted-pick pucks. Anna, maintenance owns the parts request. Controls has identified which pickup changes need review with the restored tooling.

Sounds less circular now. Has production agreed what it needs to see before taking the job back?

Production and maintenance have agreed a witnessed handling check using retained and representative pucks after the tooling work. No result yet; replacement fit and trial remain outstanding.

Put the result in the shift handover when it happens, including any remaining restriction. Otherwise the next operator only hears that someone has changed the fingers again.
