Our FR10 monitoring laptop freezes its display with detailed logging enabled. I have not timed the file writes.

Did you find whether samples stop arriving or only stop appearing on screen? A timestamp around acquisition and another around writing could help distinguish those, provided the extra logging does not create the delay you are measuring.
