Which FR5 bezel comparison should come before threshold tuning?

I've brought the faint-defect lesson from our FR10 work into this FR5 review: confirmed parts first, not prettier pictures. Here the bright streak changes when the bezel is reseated. Should I start with the holder comparison?

Is it touching the same locating faces in both views?

Cannot tell from the crops. Full frames requested; physical bezel IDs are known.

My cover crops hid exactly that: two different stops touching the part. I kept staring at the stripe while the seating difference sat outside the picture. Get the holder designer to look at the full views with you.

And don't label the moving streak harmless before the actual surface has been checked.

Surface checked. Accepted bezel and faint reject retained; full views show inconsistent seating at one stop.

Then include both identified bezels when the seating arrangement is reviewed and in the later lighting comparison, because a repeatable holder still has to give the camera a view of the real faint defect
