Look at the contact surfaces and how the puck sits in the tray before blaming repeatability. When you say less square, do you mean tilted in the fingers or rotated relative to the tray?
7分Tilted between the fingers. I can see more daylight beneath one edge in the recent photographs.
10分That is a more useful observation than the point changes. Can your maintenance person compare the fitted contact pieces with the intended pair, including wear and seating? Under your normal safe inspection procedure, not reaching into a moving station
10分We found one contact pad more polished than the other. Correct pair according to stores. Not yet an explanation.
12分Agreed. Uneven marks could follow the tilt rather than cause it. Are the old photographs from the same puck and tray position, or could you be comparing different conditions?

9分It is still a useful lead. I would give maintenance the photographs with their positions identified, plus the point-change history. Let them decide the next comparison instead of adding another offset to hide the symptom
