I'm documenting a planned FR5 CNC handover for machined bushes. The machine supplier calls request receipt ready; the integrator uses ready for loading-area availability. We keep revising the word without settling its meaning. What should both teams examine before this becomes the interface specification?
Ask them to trace a request that is received while the loading area remains unavailable. Define the two events, owners and set/clear conditions separately, including timeout and restart responses. Keep those ordinary handshake definitions distinct from the cell's safety permissions.
