our ur5e pilot budget borrowed the fixture maker

I priced a UR5e and gripper for mounting-block loading, then asked my colleague for fixture help as though that had no cost. She wants the trial bounded before her team is committed. I need a small study we can judge together, with their time included from the start.

Start with the uncertainty that could stop the idea before a fixture is built. Define representative blocks, the current loading work and a limited review deliverable. Put preparation and attendance beside the supplier's price.

The uncertain part is release into the existing nest without the setter repositioning the block. We have two regular variants. I have asked for a sample-and-drawing review of that task, not a working cell promised at the end.

Give that review an end where both of you can stop. A list of further options is a deliverable, not permission to spend another month making the first one work.

Agreed with my colleague. Both variants and the present setter intervention are included, with capped preparation time and a joint decision after the findings. Fixture manufacture and a robot trial are separate, unapproved next steps. Thanks Luis.
