Which bracket measurement should replace our clamped inspection sketch?

I found two inspection sketches for the gusseted bracket we want to weld with an FR5. One measures the flange against a fixture face while clamped. The drawing requirement is between features on the released bracket. The old operator remembers correcting parts afterwards, but the sketches make that work disappear. How should I organise one useful comparison for fabrication and quality?

Follow one identified bracket through both checks with those people, because your sketches aren't measuring the same relationship. We had a bench sheet where the fixture was effectively being inspected every time somebody wrote part square. The released part had another opinion. Get the actual drawing revision beside the sketches, have quality identify its datums and final check, then let fabrication explain the locating contacts and any correction between checks. Don't make the apprentice guess which old sketch meant finished.
