Our FR10 arrived. Extra gripper adapter did not. Seller wants delivery closed and says spare follows. How are people recording this?
Can I close delivery with the spare still missing?

Record exactly that: main equipment received, spare outstanding. Don't tick a box that says the whole ordered kit is present when it isn't. What does your receipt form actually say?

One box for complete delivery. That's the problem.
9分Ask purchasing to record the exception against the order and deal with that form. A comment in your maintenance notebook won't help if their system says everything was received

They've logged the missing adapter separately. Seller still owes a date.
19分Has the seller agreed that the additional adapter is outstanding? We once had stores chasing a spare while sales believed the fitted item completed the quantity.

Yes. Written confirmation says one additional adapter. No argument about quantity, just endless next shipment.
9分Then ask whether it's made, packed, or still waiting on somebody else. Next shipment isn't an answer to any of those questions
