Our UR5e main package matches the order. Installed mounting adapter present, promised spare kit absent. Nineteen days of next shipment from the Chinese seller. How do I get a real supply decision?

Ask whether the spare kit is available for dispatch, not merely whether they remember promising it. The order and missing contents should be attached so installed and spare don't become another argument

They acknowledge the spare kit now. Still no stock answer or parcel reference. Stores has not booked any of it in.

Keep that as acknowledgement of the shortage. Have they actually proposed separate supply, or is it only something you are asking them to consider? Those are different positions for purchasing to act on.

I've had small missing items become much clearer once the request named a receiving person and delivery address. Doesn't conjure stock, but it removes an avoidable excuse when a parcel is eventually agreed.

Would separate delivery create a receiving problem at your workshop? An unannounced small box can sit unopened even after the carrier calls it delivered.

That can be arranged while stock remains unanswered. I'd keep the receiving details ready without telling the workshop that shipment is imminent.

Dinesh, separate supply is our request, not their offer. Receiving details are confirmed. I need purchasing to decide how long to keep chasing this route.

Ask purchasing to compare fulfilment with a possible credit and independently sourced replacement. None is established yet. Delivered cost, compatibility and lead time belong in that comparison, not just the amount offered for the missing adapter.

Is the adapter the only missing item? A discussion centred on its replacement could accidentally close the rest of the kit, especially if a proposed credit names just that component.

Nathan, could asking for a credit too soon make the seller stop trying to supply it? I'd keep the requested fulfilment clear while asking what alternatives are actually available.

We once accepted a small credit without checking replacement delivery charges. I would investigate the alternative first, not accept an attractive number and discover the usable spare costs much more.

Who would establish compatibility of another adapter with your delivered tool assembly? Even a supplier reference needs checking against the actual configuration before it becomes a maintenance spare you can rely on.

Jeremy, yes. I meant compare options, not withdraw the fulfilment request. Purchasing can ask what credit they would offer while explicitly leaving the promised-kit supply request in place.

Whole kit still missing, Victor. Toolmaker will assess any alternative adapter. Seller has not offered a credit; purchasing has only requested the available options.

Then the summary should still say no concrete supply or settlement proposal received. Your internal alternatives are useful preparation, but they don't establish an agreement with the seller.

Jasper, keep the original kit contents attached when those options arrive. Thanks for confirming receiving is covered; at least a real dispatch offer won't need another round just to find its destination.

Latest reply is next shipment again. No date, parcel or settlement terms. Purchasing owns the escalation now; the spare-kit shortage stays open.
