One FR5 demo starts with every spacer lined up; the other candidate starts with our mixed tray and somebody keeps stopping to sort it. I can price the sorting, but I still can't tell whether either offer covers our actual incoming tray. Worth asking for a repeat before another sales meeting?
I'd first ask what each supplier actually proposes to do with your incoming tray. We paid for a second demonstration once and got a better filmed version of the first. Still had a person just outside the shot turning everything the right way up. Nobody had lied about the arm, but we'd asked a vague question and got a demonstration of the bit they already knew worked. If one offer includes sorting and the other expects you to supply prepared trays, compare those whole jobs. You might still prefer the prepared-tray route. Just don't pay for a repeat before agreeing what it should settle.
