Our hand-loaded bush blanks form two groups on the stick-out sheet. The planned FR10 loading job is not authorised. We measured nothing else, so I cannot tell whether we have two blank lengths or two ways of seating them. What should the setter and quality compare first?

Measure overall length against each identified blank, not just the group average.
8分We have started that list. Both exposed-length groups contain more than one overall length. The person measuring used the front of the jaw as their reference.
9分Did everyone use that same reference face and the same jaw arrangement? A mixed reference could create groups before seating variation enters the picture.
21分Check the end against the stop too; a nice visible end does not guarantee the hidden one is sound.
