Our bracket folder lost the change to its locating stop

I found a stop-change note between the old bracket inspection sheets, but the UR5e proposal treats every sheet as one unchanged fixture; before we inherit its correction routine, I want to know which brackets actually used which locating arrangement.

Can the original setter tie that change to a traveller or fixture revision? I'd ask before anyone averages the results together.

Setter remembers the change but not the first traveller; the note names a new stop drawing, and the inspection sheets keep the old fixture name.

Use the dated drawing and service entry to narrow the period, but keep any bracket whose configuration cannot be identified separate. The old fixture name may have stayed unchanged while the locating contact moved.

Was the new stop actually fitted when the note was written, or was that only the instruction to make it?

Instruction to make it; toolroom has a later issue entry, and maintenance is looking for the fitting record rather than treating the drawing date as installation.

Worth doing. A proposed improvement can sit in a folder long before it touches a bracket, especially if somebody still has to release the fixture for the work.

What about the restrained and released readings in the meantime? Do they at least stay linked to their own brackets?

Grace, yes, keep those links. A missing fixture revision should not turn genuine measurements into rubbish; it limits which configuration they can describe.

The bracket identities and checking supports are intact, Grace; maintenance also found the fitting record, which places the stop change between two identified orders.

That sounds useful; can the proposal show the two order groups separately, with fit-up, restrained observations and released results kept in their actual stages?

Yes, I am rebuilding it that way, with correction operations still attached to their own brackets; the fixture review can compare the two groups without pretending the stop change explains every failed dimension.
