Let the operator show the first moment it looks wrong. On training jobs that observation can get lost once everybody starts discussing possible fixes. Before contact and after contact are different starting points.

Our FR5 sleeves lean after the pickup corrections

We found a replacement pad with the right bag label and the wrong contact profile. Have maintenance compare the fitted pieces with the drawing, including spacers, under the appropriate isolation.
19分Have you got dates or versions for those edits, Sarah? I'd put them beside the tooling-change history without assuming a recent pad change explains complaints that came before it.
2分Noah, one sleeve in the recording starts upright and tips at first contact. Anil, we have the program versions but incomplete notes. Pads were changed between the first complaint and the latest edits.
10分Please don't turn the operator's video into an instruction to add one more little sideways nudge, that's exactly the loop Sarah is trying to get out of
5分Compare the complete finger stack, not only the soft faces, because a misplaced spacer can change where an otherwise correct pad touches the sleeve.
-5分Keep those old versions. Nobody should pick the oldest one just because it predates the latest repair. It may belong to another physical arrangement.
18分On our inspection work, one convenient sample could make a change look settled. Use an identified sleeve for the initial comparison, then the range this station actually receives.
16分And label that sleeve. Ours once vanished into the good-parts tray.
5分Who owns the decision to resume this job? Happy to wait for a proper check, less happy with three departments each assuming another one has finished it.
25分Finn, that belongs with the cell owner and the responsible maintenance and controls people. Sarah can keep the open items visible, but should not become the approval process by default.
6分Cell owner has the hold, Finn. Maintenance owns the physical check and controls the program comparison. Beth and Joel, the filmed sleeve is identified and retained. We are not claiming it represents every incoming one.
19分Include the spare pad references in that handover. If the intended arrangement differs from what stores has been issuing, repairing the fitted pair will not resolve the next replacement.
13分Bruno, yes, though I don't want stores blamed before anyone has checked what was actually fitted. The correct bag can still meet an imaginative assembly on the bench
7分Agreed Felix, inspect the assembled contacts first and compare them with the specified stack; stock identity and fitting method are separate checks worth doing once that difference is known.
14分That was our problem too, Felix. The label alone got an innocent stores person a fairly pointless lecture. The actual pad profile was what settled it.
2分Sarah, does the revised handover keep the operator's first-contact observation? It is more useful than reducing their report to pickup unreliable once the inspection begins.
4分Yes, Noah. Maintenance found unequal spacer stacks and is checking the intended assembly before refitting. Bruno, stores references match the order, so the fitting instructions are being reviewed too. Earlier complaints remain unexplained.
15分Then controls needs the verified final stack identity before choosing which pickup corrections to retain. Keep the repair finding separate from a handling pass.
19分That is a useful finding without making it the answer to every earlier miss. Will the supervised verification include the sleeve variation Beth mentioned?
