The plastic-sample trial showed finger changes with the gripper mounted. On our delivered FR5 tooling, the replacement adapter appears to cover one of those fixings. The seller calls it an equivalent assembly, but I cannot see how the same changeover would work.
It remains uninstalled. Is it reasonable to ask for the finger-change demonstration as well as the sample-handling trial?
Yes. We inherited tooling that handled the part well but needed half the assembly removed for a routine pad change. Ask them to show the changeover with the delivered arrangement and explain who supports the disturbed assembly afterwards.
