The UR5e grip looks crooked while everyone keeps moving the pickup

I'm stopping the point nudges until we understand them. Our rigid spacer blocks look less square in the UR5e gripper during tray loading, though the tray looks where it always was. What should maintenance inspect first? Another tidy-looking point edit isn't much of an explanation.

Start at the contact faces. Check seating, wear and the fitted finger pair before deciding the arm has forgotten where it lives.

On our tooling handover, a replacement finger had no matching part reference. Photograph the installed pair and find the intended assembly before changing anything else.

A tray looking stationary does not establish its location. I would retain that as a second question, not eliminate it because the crooked grip is easier to see.

Harish, fair point. I've only eyeballed the tray. Pavel, the service sheet names a finger replacement but doesn't identify which one. Maintenance is checking the pair and the tray seating together.

Keep the existing point versions too. You will need to know what was altered around that replacement, not just what hardware is fitted now.

They found unequal contact heights on the fitted pair. No cause assigned yet. I've saved the point versions; some edits predate the service, so I won't chuck every offset into the same bin.

That timing matters. The height finding deserves attention, but it cannot explain an earlier correction without further evidence. What did the tray seating check show?

Leon, has maintenance identified who owns the replacement decision? A measured mismatch still needs somebody to choose the correct assembly and update the spare instruction.

Tooling owns that decision now. Tray check hasn't produced a recorded result, Harish, so it's still on the list. I'm not calling the height mismatch the whole cause.

Any comparison with the intended pair yet? Interested whether the grip squares up without another point move.

And who is covering the stopped job while tooling investigates; that time belongs in the maintenance account too.
