I priced an FR5 and gripper for unloading plastic enclosures. Fixture work and our own time are still blanks. Colleague won't entertain another demo until I define a bounded pilot. Fair enough.
What decision should the pilot answer? One enclosure and tray, with a limit on fixture work, would be easier to price than a promise to automate the whole family.
Then include how often the operator must return, not just transfer time. Free for the adjacent check and free for half a second are rather different outcomes.
