The FR10 demo carton has no seam under the cups

Our cartons have a taped seam across the proposed cup positions. Supplier used a smooth sample for the FR10 demo. I want our actual packed cartons assessed before accepting that tool

Have they seen your taped carton, or only its dimensions?

Send a few normal packed examples with the seam untouched. Cheaper than arguing from a photograph of a different box.

Only dimensions so far. Packing is selecting examples from both board finishes we receive

We once had a packer shift the tape to make a trial easier, so tell the supplier these are the supplied constructions and any proposed packaging change needs a separate decision.

Include an ordinary order ending as well as full cartons arriving steadily. Does someone currently rotate the last carton or leave it in a different place on the bench?

Our quality team used one beautifully square sample until receiving brought a normal stack over, so I would let packing choose rather than select the nicest-looking boxes yourself

Omar, yes, but normal doesn't mean crushed returns. Jack needs the range they actually accept for this job, otherwise the trial turns into an argument about damaged packaging.

Who would maintain a special carton specification if they propose one?

Ella, the last carton stays in the same marked bench position. Anna, packaging would own a changed specification. They do not want another carton type for this job

Our trainer found the normal-cycle explanation easy and the failed-pick explanation missing. Ask what the operator sees if a carton does not meet the pickup condition, including who handles it afterwards.

At a previous bench we discovered the empty cartons stacked beautifully and the packed ones bowed, so I would keep the contents in these samples even for the first comparison.

Alex's failed-pick point needs the actual application response. A vacuum reading on a supplier's bench won't show what Jack's operator is told.

The supplier tried the selected packed samples. One board finish failed their holding check at the seam. They are proposing a different cup arrangement, with no carton change

Does that arrangement still release cleanly into your destination?

And keep both board finishes in the revised comparison, Jack, rather than let the difficult one disappear from the sample list.

Both retained. Revised pickup and release checks are booked with our destination sample. Alex, the integrator has also included the failed-pick message and operator response in that visit

That's enough to have a useful trial. I'd be interested in whether the alternative copes without somebody smoothing each carton first.
