The layout reaches the blank but omits the tool

The supplier added the gripper and found that the proposed adapter passes close to the door edge. They have not checked the intermediate poses yet.

Then clearance remains undecided. Include hoses and the held blank in that check; a clear view at the fixture alone is insufficient.

They propose turning the base, which moves the elbow envelope towards the manual setup position. I have requested an updated combined layout.

Have the machine users mark that setup space. I would not choose its limits from a plan view without seeing their tasks.

Please include where the trolley goes. Ours lived in the only empty patch on the drawing, then the robot proposal claimed that patch too. Apparently the trolley was meant to float.

That is exactly the sort of ordinary activity a machine-only model misses. Include routine supply, inspection and maintenance access in the layout review.

Who is paying for the extra layout work, and was a usable approach included in the original proposal?

Access review was included. The supplier is revising its proposal under that scope. Operators have marked setup and trolley positions on the drawing.

Add the spare-tool change position while everyone is there; we discovered ours only existed if you moved a cabinet first, which was a pain for the person inheriting the job.

Has the revised route been checked with the complete tool yet? The added human tasks help the layout, but that original question still needs an answer.

The supplier's review supports a different base position with the proposed complete tool. Tool-change access is included. Final tool dimensions are still pending, so the arm choice remains conditional on that check.

Carry that condition into the purchasing decision and assign the final review. A provisional envelope is useful for screening, provided nobody mistakes it for the delivered tool.
