We found worn contacts on a sleeve job before, so I had maintenance check the FR5 fingers first when these spacer blocks started leaning. No comparable wear found. The new part of this case is a shared tray with removable pockets.
People have been nudging the pickup again. The tray base looks fixed, but that does not tell me much about the pockets. I would like to stop teaching around whatever is moving.
Do the bad pickups follow one pocket, Noah, or one block? I'd mark both before the next inspection. Easy to call it random when nobody can tell which pocket just went past.
One pocket. Maintenance found its locating screw loose and a polished patch where it had been rubbing the tray plate. The blocks measure alike at the gripping faces. At least this time we have something to repair rather than another set of coordinates.
The pocket bore is damaged. Replacement made to the original drawing and checked by our tooling lead. He is also going through the other removable pockets before the integrator reviews the accumulated pickup changes.
