Then show that limit in your update. You know which tray worked, not yet why the replacement didn't.

Updated. Tooling found the replacement's underside rib contacts the locator before its base seats.

Have tooling identify whether that rib belongs to an accepted tray variant or to the wrong tray for this job, before deciding the locator needs changing.

Is the first tray's underside different at that point, Anders? A side-by-side view could make the explanation useful to someone fetching the next replacement.

And don't solve stores' identification problem with another handwritten good tray label. Give them something that distinguishes the actual variant.
