The FR10 demo carton has none of our awkward surfaces

Only their box has been tried. No failure on ours to report. I object to them calling the concept demonstrated for our packaging.

Then describe the current demonstration narrowly and request the missing comparison. Include where the cups contact each carton, not just the packaging source name. It may be possible to use a different clear area.

Send cartons taken from ordinary deliveries, Nadia. I nearly selected our nicest examples for a supplier once, which would have made their task easier and the answer less useful. Include the seam positions you actually see.

We've gathered filled examples from both sources, including the rough board and the usual tape variation. Jonas, there's no failed-pick response in the offer. I've asked for that with the trial plan.

Will the supplier identify the cup set used? It would help whoever orders replacements if the eventual trial uses something different from the quoted set.

Also watch release into the receiving position. I would not accept a hanging-carton photograph as the full comparison, even with your own filled carton in it.

Omar, the revised plan identifies a different cup arrangement for each carton source. Mina, transfer and release are included. I'm less keen on a changeover every time purchasing changes source.

Then price that changeover and ask purchasing how often the sources mix within an order. A workable pickup can still be an awkward production choice.

Have they ruled out one arrangement for both, Nadia, or just proposed two? I would ask before you carry two sets of tooling and the identification work that comes with them.

They haven't ruled it out. Purchasing says both sources can be on the same pallet, so I've asked for a common-tool comparison first. No tooling order placed.

Mixed on one pallet makes identification part of the job too, unless the common arrangement covers both. Worth including that in your handover discussion.
