Which hardware checks belong before another FR5 pickup tweak?

Last note says grips crooked. No tray number. This is why I'm asking.

Have maintenance inspect the tool mounting, fingers and tray location with the equipment isolated for that work. Photograph what they find before changing it. Crooked grip doesn't identify which bit moved.

Maintenance booked an inspection. I'll ask them to identify the tray and finger set too.

Check the finger issue history in stores. We once issued a matching-looking pair from different revisions, and the person fitting them had no reason to know. Same bin was the problem.

A dated copy of each plus the active one should settle which is which.

That edge is worth pointing out to maintenance. Could still be the tray seating; I wouldn't order new fingers from that description.

How many different trays have shown it? One bad tray can produce lots of bad shifts.

DanielChen, only one tray identified so far. Maintenance found debris under its corner support. Fingers match and mounting checks passed.

So which offset is the trial using after cleaning? Otherwise you'll be comparing a clean tray plus a mystery correction with the old mess

Henry, that's with the programmer. Nobody is choosing an offset just because it was saved first.

Get the tray sitting correctly before that comparison. Then the programmer can review the taught pickup and accumulated corrections against the verified setup. A clean support doesn't undo software changes.

Did the debris explain the raised edge?

Yes, Sam. Tray now seats on all supports. Programmer has a reviewed trial version; no pickup results yet.

Put the other trays in the trial too. They're still an unanswered part of this.
