Which carton revision belongs in this FR10 layer section?

Both are still being packed. Purchasing expects the old stock to run out, but no cutoff agreed. The current drawing only covers the newer construction.

Then both need a route through the plan, even if one is temporary; running out eventually isn't a changeover instruction.

Compare the two packed samples in the affected positions first. It may expose a common workable arrangement, or show that they need separate treatment. No point ordering two tools just because the first shared drawing is wrong.

Can the person feeding the station distinguish the two constructions from their labels? Same box size won't help much at changeover.

The supplier labels have different construction codes. We have kept examples. Receiving can distinguish them, but the proposed job sheet names only the product.

That's where I'd fix the instruction, after the handling options are agreed; don't leave the operator to infer construction from the product name.

Ella, ask packaging and tooling to mark their observations against both codes on the same comparison. It will be easier to see whether they found a real incompatibility or merely reviewed different cartons.
