FR10 bracket history skips the explanation between release and acceptance

I'm separating corrected finished work from the released weldment, which was the issue in my earlier UR5e question too. For this FR10 proposal, what can the old mounting-bracket sheets establish if alignment under restraint is followed by failed dimensions and an unexplained correction?

Our old process notes once mixed a fixture check with final inspection under one heading. I'd identify the stage, part identity, drawing revision and measuring condition for each entry before comparing them. The word aligned is not necessarily a numerical result.

Aligned is a tick here. Released dimensions are numerical, and final acceptance follows correction. No individual part identities connect those three entries

Then the historical sheets do not quantify correction on individual brackets. They may still contain valid released failures and final acceptance records, but those are different claims from demonstrating a repeatable correction method.

Louis, yes. I would retain both sets of numbers with their limitations rather than remove the released failures because the batch eventually passed. Otherwise the proposed cell inherits a success story missing the extra work.

Quality has found the released-check method and confirmed which drawing revision it used. Incoming fit-up still has no measurements, and correction remains just the route note

That clarifies the released result, not the whole process. Keep incoming condition and correction as unresolved stages in the proposal, including any work allowance that depends on them.

Has fabrication identified anyone who can explain the correction note? Their account would be another source to examine, not a reason to replace the missing measurements with recollection.

Former operator says the flange was straightened after release. I've recorded that as their account, but there is still no defined method or paired measurement, so no correction process approved for the FR10 plan

Keep that distinction when the estimate is revised. You now have an explanation of the historical operation's general purpose, not evidence that a specified automated correction will deliver accepted brackets.
