Our proposed FR10 cover fixture has two inserts that look alike and both seem to sit backwards, so I'm asking the designer to deal with orientation before I teach anyone a changeover, but how do we also stop the right-way-round wrong family meeting the recipe?

Give the integrator those two mistakes separately. Ask what identifies the installed family, not just the selected recipe.
