Our drilled-angle-bracket nest contacts several faces. CAD looks tidy, but bench samples sit differently. Before approving more clamp force, how do I check whether the locating contacts conflict with the intended datums?
Have tooling and quality mark which contacts locate, which guide and which take clamp reaction, then inspect identified brackets and the nest against those requirements. Record unrestrained seating before any clamping comparison under the approved procedure. Stronger force may hide a contact conflict rather than explain why the samples sit differently.
