What geometry is missing from our FR5 aluminium-blank loading decision?

I have already brought setter access into another layout review. This FR5 loading proposal for 157 blanks still omits the gripper and open door; what complete arrangement should the integrator assess?

Get the actual tool and held blank into the installed machine geometry first. A dimensioned assembly with fingers, adapter and connections is a useful start; the brochure body alone leaves the awkward bits out.

Only fingers are drawn at present. The adapter and fittings are listed in the offer but have no positions in the layout.

Then the offer lists components, not an assessed assembly. Ask the integrator to define their arrangement and grip position before comparing route clearance. There may be a workable solution, but that list doesn't establish one.

Who owns updating the access review when the tool drawing changes?

Our fixture-change review once stopped at where the setter stood. Their carried fixture needed a route too. Since you already have setter input, Will, keep that task in the combined view rather than reduce it to a standing circle.

Emma, agreed. The same goes for machine service access; a base can fit the normal route and occupy space needed for a completely ordinary maintenance job.

Sam, the integrator has agreed to own updates. Emma, our setter is marking the fixture-change route, and maintenance will add the access needed around the proposed base.

Use that combined arrangement for the cost comparison too. Moving the base later can affect more than the arm's reach, so the original price shouldn't silently follow a different layout.

The fuller drawing now shows insufficient room for the open fingers at release. No new base position is proposed; the tool designer is reviewing that local interference.

Does the review include empty withdrawal after release?

It needs that case even if the opening interference is solved, Will. Getting the fingers open is not proof they can then leave the seated blank and fixture.

Yes, empty withdrawal is included in the requested review, but neither that route nor the changed finger proposal is complete. The arm choice remains provisional.
