rotated cartons over pallet gaps

Our proposed FR10 pattern rotates alternate cartons. Their supported edges then cross pallet gaps. Can we retain the pattern?

Maybe, but I wouldn't decide from the top view. Does the box supplier specify which edges need support, or is that something your packing team has observed?

Get the tool into the same review. Even an acceptable support arrangement may leave no withdrawal space between cartons. A pattern change can solve one and spoil the other.

The packaging drawing marks two bearing strips underneath. The rotated boxes miss support along part of both.

I would keep an all-one-direction version beside this drawing, even if it holds fewer cartons, because somebody has to handle the interruptions if the clever pattern keeps arriving damaged.

Naomi, fewer cartons isn't automatically easier for dispatch either. It can mean another pallet position. Worth pricing that honestly rather than treating it as the free fallback.

Agreed on the extra position, and I still want that option visible when the alternating version has support nobody can explain yet.

Oscar, for the support question take the underside drawing to packaging; for access, ask the tooling designer to show the loaded approach and empty withdrawal. Those are two different people in many shops.

Thank you, Priya. I had sent only the top view to the tooling designer.

Does dispatch actually have room for the extra pallet in Naomi's option? That answer might narrow the alternatives before you spend time drawing them.
