I added a tray locator to our FR10 loading fixture. The aluminium puck picked up better in the supervised runs, then missed after I changed the tray. I want to keep the improvement in my report without telling the next shift it is fixed.
Were those successful pickups all from one tray seating? Several cycles can give you very little information about replacement if the tray never leaves its locators.
I'd keep that distinction right up front. Ten goes at an easy seat can look lovely. Was the second tray visibly rocking? I can't tell from the pickup alone
If you mark each tray and record its seating observations, you can give the fixture person something repeatable to investigate. Include the misses in the same record as the successful pickups.
Fiona, any luck comparing those seats? I'm curious whether the locator helps one tray and annoys another. Report can stay unfinished while you find out
