Get the full tool assembly and measured machine opening into one model first. Include the connected lines and the tool's required states. Then compare the whole route; reaching the blank's centre is the easiest bit of this drawing.

Closed tool assembly has arrived and overlaps the open door on the proposed withdrawal; open fingers and the rear connection arrangement are still missing from the model

7分And have the setter's changeover tasks been surveyed? A new stand position has to preserve access to the fixture and the route for removing it, not only leave a person-sized gap.
12分I would compare a second defined position if the bay permits it. Before anyone spends a week finding a clever tool for the first dot on the floor, ask which space is actually available.

7分That gives the integrator two real cases. Keep the same actual blank and required grip in both, or a nicer route may quietly depend on holding it differently without an assessment.
19分Anil, agreed, though a changed tool could be a legitimate third option if someone defines it. I meant avoid treating the first position as compulsory, not ban other arrangements.
3分Tool supplier has also proposed a shorter adapter for the original position; I have asked for its complete assembly and held-blank geometry, with the side-position comparison continuing separately

9分The shorter adapter needs the complete handling assessment as well as clearance. Don't let reducing the sketch's overlap become the entire specification for a replacement tool.

8分Chloe's assessment point still matters if the shorter assembly clears. It may change the grip position relative to the wrist or the route between the mill and destination; neither should be assumed unchanged.

15分Lead accepted it and we have stopped this FR10 purchase for the present bay; both route failures and the retained changeover requirement are in the decision, with no alternative location authorised for study
7分That is enough to stop spending on this layout. A different location, if one becomes available later, can be a new comparison rather than an undocumented promise hidden in this one.
