Our FR10 spacer grip gets less square after each supposed fix

Pickup points keep changing on our FR10 spacer-unloading bench. Tray looks stationary, grip looks crooked. I want evidence before another coordinate edit or an arm diagnosis. What should maintenance inspect?

When does the block first look crooked, Isaac? Before the fingers touch or once they're closed? That would help decide which parts of the setup to observe first.

Only noticed after closure. I haven't got a clear enough view before contact to compare.

Can you obtain that view using the approved observation arrangement?

Yes. New view shows one end of the block sitting high in its pocket before closure. Same identified block used for comparison.

Inspect the pocket and tray location before compensating for that high end.

Does another pocket seat the same block differently, or is this one just easier to see?

Clara's comparison is useful. Also keep a record of where the fingers contact it. A source-seat problem and worn contacts can coexist; finding one doesn't make the other inspection pointless.

Another pocket seats the block lower. Maintenance found material trapped at the first pocket's seating face. Contacts are being checked too; current program saved before anything else changes.

Has the trapped material been identified? Might help prevent it returning.

And keep an as-found photograph before cleaning, under the proper isolation procedure.

Aaron, maintenance may already have done that by now; Isaac's description says found, not still untouched.

They photographed it before removal. Debris removed, source seating now level in the comparison. The source of that debris isn't established yet. No obvious contact defect found.

What is happening to the point edits? If they were compensating for a raised block, retaining all of them after cleaning may preserve the wrong geometry.

Programmer is comparing the saved versions against the restored setup. Nobody is blindly loading the oldest file as the answer.

Will that include replacing the tray, not only the cleaned pocket?

Yes, Clara, I was late on the photo instruction. Useful that the record exists already.

Tray replacement is included. Thanks, Pavel; keeping the edit list with the pocket finding helped the programmer understand what might have been compensated. Full handling verification still pending.

Did anyone find how the debris got there, or does the handover still need an open follow-up for that?
