I am assembling the documentation for our FR5 bracket welding trial. The old shop bench calls a released part acceptable, but inspection rejects it on their surface plate. Both people use the same drawing. Before we change restraint, I want a decent comparison of their measurement setups for the handover

Can both inspectors measure the same identified released part using the drawing's specified datums, with their support points documented? I'd settle that disagreement before choosing a fixture change.
