The open door occupies our proposed base position

While checking cable routes for an FR5 beside our brass-machining mill, I measured the door in its parked position and found it occupies part of the proposed base footprint; the supplier's reach sketch also has no gripper body, so I cannot support the equipment choice from that layout.

Has the supplier seen the actual door travel and the loaded-tool drawing together?

They had a machine brochure showing a different door arrangement; I have sent measured positions and the tool drawing with the mismatch highlighted.

Ask them to check the whole entry and exit. A revised base position can solve the door clash and create a withdrawal problem.

Their replacement sketch moves the base towards the service cabinet, which seems to exchange one access problem for another.

Who services that cabinet? Include their access requirements before accepting the new position.

Maintenance marked the required service access on the same layout, and the supplier is reviewing a third position; no base location is approved yet.

Keep the service access on every revision. Otherwise somebody will remove it as background detail when they redraw the robot.
