I cannot sign off placement from a video of empty fingers

Our FR10 supplier sent another pre-shipment clip. Empty fingers travelling between the pickup tray and fixture. We sent samples for the agreed handling test, so I cannot sign this off as that test. I need a recording that the receiving shift can compare with the delivered kit. What should the replacement request say?

Does the seller confirm they received your samples? Establish that first, then request the agreed pick, transfer and release using those samples on the identified supplied setup.

Yes. We have their arrival photograph showing the sample bag and its label. The latest clip contains none of them.

Reference that photograph in the request. Ask for a view where the sample remains visible through pickup and release, with the tooling identification shown clearly.

Sent. Their reply says the movement is the same with or without a part. It misses why we agreed a handling demonstration.

Were retention and release explicitly in your agreed observations? If so, quoting those lines may get a more useful answer than debating equivalent movement.

Those are distinct observations. An empty-tool movement cannot show whether the sample stays held or releases into the fixture.

Same path, different question. Empty fingers never drop a sample. Send them the two lines Harish mentioned.

Also make clear which equipment needs identifying. A replacement clip of samples on their demonstration machine may still leave your delivered package untested.

Does your agreement identify the finger drawing revision?

If it does, include that revision alongside the sample photo. The person filming should be able to check what must be on the machine before recording.

The agreement names the finger revision and a release into our sample fixture. Seller now says they used different fingers for the empty run. I have requested the specified combination.

Have they proposed a substitution, or simply explained the earlier recording? Those would need different responses from your purchasing and technical reviewers.

Only explaining the clip, according to their reply. They say the specified fingers are available. I have not received a substitution proposal.

Then your existing request still applies; no need to invent an equivalence review for a change they're not proposing.

Available where, though? On a shelf isn't on the arm. I'd want the next clip to start with the fitted fingers visible.

The new clip arrived. Correct finger marking is readable, and our samples are picked and released into the fixture. Equipment label is still too blurred to connect the sequence to the ordered package.

I've acknowledged the handling observations and asked for the remaining equipment identification. Keeping that request short. We are finally down to one missing link.

Ask for identification connected to that setup, such as a readable view continuing into the assembled machine. A loose label photograph alone may not establish the link you need.
