I can write a sensible remote-support rule for a normal daytime call, but the awkward case is a session still open when responsibility changes shift. The access log may say who enabled it, while the person watching the cell has changed. Would you record a handover as a new approval, or simply require the next responsible person to acknowledge the existing session? I am trying to make this usable rather than ceremonial.

I would require an acknowledgement, not silently carry the session over. The new person needs to know what support is connected for and what action is proposed. Otherwise the log is accurate and the handover is still missing.

That seems proportionate. I will make the acknowledgement state the session purpose and the approved connection method, then leave any new action needing its own local confirmation. It is a small distinction, but it stops a shift change looking like blanket permission.
