It doesn't answer either question yet; can the toolmaker key the insert orientation and provide a way to identify the fitted family for comparison with the selected recipe?
7分Toolmaker has proposed asymmetric location so the insert cannot seat backwards. The family check is still just a label, which does not establish what the controller knows about the installed tooling.
7分What happened to the family check? I'd want the wrong-family and unreadable-identity cases in the acceptance trial, not only the correctly fitted example.
21分Integrator has proposed reading an insert identity and comparing it with the recipe before starting. We have added wrong family, missing identity and reversed seating attempts to the planned trial; the design is not yet accepted.
