The program and installed fixture are known; I need our maintainer and the package author to agree the useful event window instead of collecting another still picture of the wait.
Ask the author which confirmation feeds that step, then have the maintainer compare its transitions around the stop with the earlier normal case. Keep the fixture identity attached to both.
