Capture when the tilt begins. Is the puck already leaning in the tray, pushed over as the fingers close, or moving after lift? Keep the tray and tool contacts visible, not just the arm.

Puck tilting despite the FR10 pickup edits

It rocks as the second finger closes. Looks flat before contact.
17分Let the operator who noticed it show maintenance. On our training jobs that person often knows which row or changeover makes it worse, then gets left out while everyone discusses the robot.
22分Which pickup version made that clip? I'd keep the versions identifiable while the physical checks happen, otherwise a good-looking result later becomes hard to explain.
11分Version 7. Operator says it began after a finger replacement, but edits started earlier.
19分So there may be two periods to understand. Have maintenance compare the fitted pair and mounting faces with the intended drawing. Don't assume the replacement explains complaints that predate it.
16分Can the operator see the finger difference from the loading side? I ask because a check sheet can tell somebody to inspect a contact that disappears behind the tool as soon as it is fitted.
6分Rachel, exactly. We once moved the useful photograph to the operator's side of a fixture and suddenly the same instruction became understandable. No extra paragraph needed.
11分The rear contact is hidden from loading. Maintenance can inspect it during the tooling check.
5分Noah, did moving the photograph solve the visibility or just explain what to look for? I'd be wary of making a hidden contact seem inspectable because the picture is good.
13分It explained a contact that was visible from that side on ours. It would not solve Louis's hidden one. That needs a workable check, not a better photograph of an inaccessible surface.
11分For this investigation maintenance can inspect the dismantled tool. The eventual operator check is a separate design question. Both matter, but we don't have to answer them with the same viewpoint.
18分Maintenance found the replacement finger sits against a raised burr on its mounting face. Repair arranged.
12分That gives the designer something specific for the future check. Ask what verifies correct assembly after replacement, rather than ask the operator to see the hidden contact every cycle.
11分Has the repaired pair been tried through the full transfer yet, Louis?
15分Not yet. Burr removed and pair checked. Programmer reviewing versions before the transfer trial.
9分Keep the earlier complaint open in the notes. A mounting fault can explain the newer tilt without explaining why someone first started adjusting the pickup.
9分Will do. Thanks for separating those. I was about to call the whole history explained.
3分And give the operator the result when the trial happens. They spotted the visible change; they should not have to guess whether the latest program has merely disguised it again.
