Page 19 lists 0.63 kg for the 120 x 60 foam FQE-Xc. I started adding a guessed 0.22 kg adapter and 0.15 kg changer to that, then noticed the UR-flange note underneath. Those extra weights are just placeholders, not parts I've bought. Am I making a nonsense shopping spreadsheet already? Planning around a 3 kg FR3, not an extended-payload claim.

The 0.63 kg figure already includes a UR flange. Get the mass of the actual Fairino configuration; don't add another adapter to that figure unless both parts really remain in the assembly.
Pretty much. I put a weight beside each item in the drawing, then check the assembled tool. It's also easier to spot a spacer you've accidentally counted twice.
And the subtraction is only an initial mass budget. Even a complete 1 kg tool leaving 2 kg on paper doesn't establish that a particular reach, load offset and motion are permitted. Check the applicable robot load limits and the gripping task.
