My Fairino FR10 arrived without its controller (loading assembly fixtures)

Our Fairino FR10 arm arrived from an unnamed seller in China, but the controller and the controller power lead are missing. I ordered a complete package for loading assembly fixtures. The seller says those items shipped separately, yet hasn't supplied another reference in 14 days. I kept the crate and packing material.

@CallumArcher0360 What package count is on your delivery note? Start by matching its identifier to the agreed contents so you can describe the missing balance precisely.

@HenryCarter0960 There's a single package identifier on the note, but our order includes the arm, controller, and the controller power lead. I checked all the foam compartments and neither missing item is there.

Give the seller your received inventory and crate-label photos. Request a package identifier and shipping reference for the missing controller and the controller power lead.

Missing contents or missing parcel, then? This separate-shipment story isn't in our order paperwork.

@CallumArcher0360 Call it the undelivered balance of your order for now. Your inventory is clear even if their packing arrangement isn't.

Yes. The single-package note means the controller wasn't part of that shipment, so request the separate consignment information.

@HenryCarter0960 Careful: one recorded package doesn't establish its intended contents. It also doesn't establish that a second shipment was actually made.

You're right about that inference. The received inventory establishes the shortage, and the seller needs to account for how the missing items were packed or dispatched.

@CallumArcher0360 Can any setup preparation happen with just the arm there?

Paperwork and visible label checks, yes. Keep the arm off, and don't try another controller just because it looks similar.

It's staying off. The empty space on our bench is annoying, but borrowing a controller wasn't part of my plan.

My separate equipment delivery had a contents list for each box. It made tracing the missing box much easier than reciting the complete order every time.

@SamBrooks0855 Were those identifiers from your seller or carrier? I can imagine ending up with another pair of lists that don't match.

Use both sets where needed, but ask the seller to map its package identifiers to the carrier references. Don't assume similar numbers are the same box.

@CallumArcher0360 In your records, give the delivered arm its own received status. Keep the controller and accessory outstanding rather than applying one delivery scan to everything.

@NoraBarnes0583 Thanks, that helps. Arm received, setup incomplete. I can say both.

The seller still hasn't accounted for the missing controller and the controller power lead. Our arm is here, but the package remains incomplete and unpowered.

The arm's arrival doesn't answer where those items are. Keeping the package marked incomplete is reasonable.
