I am preparing training for our proposed spacer-blank tending cell. The machine supplier calls a received request ready; the FR5 integrator reads ready as permission for the loading sequence. Same word, different event. I need the two meanings separated before I can explain the screen to a shift.
Give request acknowledgement and loading availability separate definitions, with an owner, set and clear conditions, and timeout and restart behaviour. Have both teams review a sequence table. Ordinary sequence signals must not be described as replacing the cell's safety permissions.
