FR5 connector-area damage still needs an assessment method

Our FR5 test-piece sorter arrived with a crushed crate corner, displaced supports and visible damage near the arm connector housing. Kept the packaging and arrival photographs; no power applied. Seller in China says switch it on. I need a qualified condition assessment before this becomes an improvised commissioning exercise.

Request a qualified assessor and written scope tied to the visible damage. Keep it unpowered meanwhile.

Sent the condition report with crate, restraint and connector-area views. Seller has offered a service visit and sent its scope. I'm checking the arrangements, not treating the offer as an assessment already completed.

Keep any charges and movement instructions explicit too. Don't repack it on an assumed collection plan.

Visit completed on site. The assessor requires connector-housing repair and follow-up checks before release; report received. Seller is preparing the work proposal. Thanks Theo, keeping the visit separate from collection avoided an unnecessary repacking job.
