Compare the actual samples and fitted nest with the drawing datums first, then have the designer explain which contacts locate and which only support load; more clamp can conceal conflicting location without making it correct.
10分The designer's first comparison shows the extra side pad is acting as another fixed locator against a surface not used as a drawing datum; the samples have differing clearance there, so we have held the stronger-clamp proposal while tooling reviews that constraint.
