Do I reteach this pickup or send it to maintenance?

Our FR10 unloads plastic sleeves from trays. Pickup has been moved twice this month. Now one finger touches first even on an empty test position. I can change the point again but I don't think that's my job to guess.

Have maintenance inspect the tool and tray location before another edit. Save the current teaching data and describe the one-finger contact. That gives them an observation to investigate instead of a third set of compensating points.

Saved it. With the cell isolated they found a packing strip under one tray stop. Fingers still looked wrong afterwards.

The strip may explain part of it. Ask them to check the finger mounting and wear as well, following the equipment procedure. Two faults can coexist; removing one doesn't prove the rest is sound.

Maintenance found a bent replacement finger. Wrong spare from our drawer. Correct pair fitted and they checked the setup before returning it. Picks are square again without my next masterpiece of teaching.

Label that drawer clearly and include the finger identification in the handover. The useful lesson for the next operator is that a new spare can still be the wrong spare.
