Our delivered adapter offsets the gripper differently from the confirmed housing-sorting trial; the seller calls it equivalent, but our installation review is paused until someone explains the change.

Request a dimensioned comparison of the tested and supplied assemblies, then have your integrator assess the changed tool position and the agreed handling task. The seller should also offer the route back to the confirmed adapter, so equivalence isn't your only conversation.

Asked for both. Existing reply only compares mounting-hole spacing.

That leaves the offset unexplained. Point to the actual dimension you need, with the two drawings identified, rather than letting them answer whether the bolt pattern fits again.

Trial drawing A2 and supplied drawing A4 now sent together, with the offset highlighted.

Did the sample trial include release into your actual receiving nest, Beth? That stage may matter just as much as the pickup with the changed offset.

Yes, pickup and placement into our nest. No equivalent A4 trial supplied.

Keep that complete task in the request, since another successful lift would still leave you arguing about the nest and the space needed to withdraw.

And retain the A2 supply option while they assess A4. Comparing the alternatives may be quicker than funding an open-ended development exercise just because the replacement is already in your crate.

Has anyone checked the adapter's effect on the service fittings too?
