Cannot authorise another FR5 spacer offset without a physical explanation

Our spacer blocks sit less square in the grip and each recurrence gets another pickup edit. Tray apparently unchanged. I want a sensible inspection order before maintenance inherits a program containing the accumulated opinions of three shifts. No evidence yet that the arm itself is responsible

Our teaching cell once collected offsets around a loose jaw insert, so I would compare the block's seating before closure with its held position before choosing what maintenance should inspect first.

The block is level in the tray from the side view. It tilts when the jaws close. Far contact isn't visible in our existing footage

Have maintenance inspect both contacts and the mounting against the tool drawing. Keep the side view with the request so they know where the tilt appears

Inspection found a worn contact on one side. Part identifiers match the intended pair. Cause of the uneven wear still being checked

Was there looseness as well, or only wear? I wouldn't combine those into a single worn-tool diagnosis if maintenance found something more specific.

Only wear reported, no looseness identified. I'll keep the description to that. Replacement contacts not ordered until toolmaker reviews the finding

Keep the pickup edits alongside the physical finding, because the intended replacement contacts may no longer suit somebody's latest compensating offset. One reviewed program should be chosen for verification after restoration.

Bruno, did you ever find several copies all labelled last working, or is that particular naming achievement reserved for our workshop?

Several, and one lived only on a laptop somebody took home. The modification dates did not tell us which had run with the repaired tool, so we had to reconstruct that from shift notes.

Isabel, can the other shift see which version is held for review? They should not have to choose from those old copies

Yes. Programmer gathered the versions and both shifts have the hold note. Toolmaker has specified the replacement contacts and the mounting check to accompany them

Please report what the supervised verification shows. The contact finding may explain the tilt, but you still want evidence with the restored assembly and the agreed program.

Restored contacts hold square in the supervised checks with the reviewed program. Tray exchange comparison still outstanding. Maintenance has the wear finding and replacement reference, so the offsets won't be the only history left
