Define the transfer stages and their evidence before assigning the update. A saved next-pocket value cannot establish that placement occurred. Review the interruption boundaries with the cell owner, including uncertain tool or destination state and the recovery method for each.

Yes. Also consider placement completing before the updated pocket is saved. Moving the save later can exchange one failure case for another unless recovery reconciles the retained transfer identity with physical evidence.

Has that defined review been agreed or is it still a draft? Keep the distinction visible before operator training, especially for a destination that cannot be confirmed directly.
